　　　当時黒川紀章事務所の設計部長だった吉田行雄一級建築士に呼ばれ、事務所を訪問すると
整然と資料棚に並ぶ建築積算資料の中央に置かれた大きなミーテングテーブルの席に座った。
吉田先生の面談は依頼主のヨーロッパからのログハウスの輸入及び建築依頼の話だった。

依頼者の所有地は水道も電柱もない、細い林道下の急傾斜地で唐松の生茂る山林だった。
オーナーはその当時4x4マガジン社の編集長をしていた。

日本の急傾斜地山林利用
私の所有する山林も八ヶ岳中信高原国定公園の和田峠に同様の
急こう配の唐松山林を主有しているので、急こう配には、あまり抵抗感はなく、
設計・施工の流れに対する興味をそそぐことになった。
2022年の春、現在もオーナーと共に弊社はサポートを続けている。
オーナーは４ｘ４マガジン社を退職後、現在は、フィンランドログハウスの八千穂山荘で、
薪stove生活を実践し、さらに自らの会社を、立ち上げて、実践的な薪ストーブライフを
自らの体験をもとにして、静かな自然の中の書斎で、執筆活動を続けている。
